Images in this project are derived from copyrighted DVDs of mainstream films. The titles are selected for their irony and not for any relation to the plot or narrative content of the films. Video has been extracted using various software and then re-compressed. The glitched images are a result of copyright encryption and the extraction process. Stills are isolated through a performative search process and screen grabs are taken of the video frames.
