Participants worked individually in a workshop atmosphere making a series of non-figurative drawings. These were cumulative exercises beginning with vertical and horizontal lines, then diagonal, then curvalinear, then a drawing using all of the above. The final drawings were displayed and randomly assigned to the participants. They were then asked to use these drawings as "scores" for sound compositions - either "fixed media" sound files or scores for performers/musicians.
